In this project I was required to create a poster using the elements of design(line,color,shape,space,form,texture,and value) and the principles of design(pattern,balance,rhythm,movement,unity,emphasis,contrast,and proportion). For this project I used Adobe Illustrator program used by both artists and graphic designers to create vector images. These images will then be used for company logos, promotional uses or even personal work, both in print and digital form. I used the text,rectangle,and triangle tools to express how each element or principle is used. My favorite element and principle is shape and proportion because it in my opinion is the most important part of a piece. The elements and principles bring together each piece done because if there was no value or contrast or any of the elements or principles the piece would be bland or not well done.
