Academy of Art University - Interior Architecture & Design students participate in our 9th DIFFA event, at the San Francisco Design Center. DIFFA, standing for Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids, is one of the country’s largest supporters of direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS and preventive education for those at risk.
Design Concept:
Herman Melville said it best, "We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects."
We are one heart. One is in everyone. One is the piece of the whole and the whole is comprised of the one. There exists an interwoven, interdependent, and constantly evolving transformation from the one to the whole and the whole to the one. The power lies in the unity of each one of us to make up the whole, for without the one the whole cannot be; and without the whole, change cannot be.
