Nottinghill Carnival Parade Illustration (June 2014)
A collaboration with Camille Lesforis, a performance, set design artist. Credits to Lesforis for the story and costume. The project centres a story which happened on a fictional land with an Caribbean-esque background and the spirit of the festival (Costume). Based on Lesforis’ story and art direction, I have executed an A0 drawing on canvas with acrylic and goldleaf which was displayed on a truck at the Nottinghill Festival in London along with the dancer in Lesforis’ costume. The final piece and the costume was exhibited at the Islington Arts factory.
