MGV Québec: The High Speed Monorail

MGV Que´bec is a group that seeks to promote and create a high-speed monorail concept that can fit the needs for intercity transportation in Quebec as well as being an exportable technology for other regions and countries.
Originally, this monorail concept came from my graduating project in Industrial Design, which was a collaborative work between the University of Montreal’s School of Industrial Design, the Polytechnique of Montreal and the HEC (High Commerce Studies). The goal was to create an innovative public transport for Quebec.
After more than 8 months of intensive research, analysis and creation, the result of the collaboration between the various students fields of studies was UbiCiT, a suspended high-speed electric monorail concept answering the growing needs of Montreal’s public transit network. My task was to design the inside and the exterior of the monorail.
