Preliminary rendering results with Midjourney "retexture" tool
I stopped midway through making a model to see progress in several ai-powered rendering programs, including for the first time, the new Midjourney "texture tool." This scene is based on Toronto offices of Slack, designed by Dubbeldam Architecture.
I would say program is promising. And does do this same thing as these other programs I use; it is an "ai-powered renderer." But not as photorealistic as I'd hoped at least initially.
These are three of the best results, out of about 40. Reflections are always a problem; need more of them!
At least it's free for a year now. And results may improve, and I can tackle the learning curve. It does seem "intelligent;" at least I imagine it is going to understand what I tell it more than other programs; not sure if that's true.
And not sure if more words in prompt or less better right now. Really only at the beginning.
