I Ate
This diptych was the final assignment of an introductory drawing course. The work is a charcoal highlight rendering, where charcoal is smudged evenly across the page, and from there the white spaces are created by erasure, while dark areas are emphasized with added charcoal. The piece is meant to show the passing of time, as an orange is eaten and all that is left is its peel.
