SPECIAL CHALLENGES: Create a one bedroom model condominium unit for a developer of luxury housing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The design must adhere to the developer's budget of $31,500. The target demographic includes urban professionals of many ages, but the design should appeal to prospective buyers outside that demographic as well.
DESIGN STATEMENT: Clean lines and a mostly neutral color palette make this space feel modern while a variety of rich textures create a feeling of luxury. The neutral color palette and combination of masculine and feminine elements ensures that the space feels comfortable for all users while the vibrant blue accent color infuses the space with energy.
