This statue depicts A roman couple getting married. The man wears a toga pura, The simplest form of a toga that was made of unadorned, off-white wool. His bride wears a Stola and a palla. She its also wearing a flammeum, a bright orange veil worn for weddings. The man and woman behind them are wearing similar outfits, but the woman is wearing a normal everyday veil. These clothes would have been worn by Roman men and women respectively, around CE 400 for weddings and some pieces as everyday wear.
