180th Street Roadway Improvements
This project was a reconstruction/widening of 180th Street, between Maple Street and Fort Street in Omaha, Nebraska. There were two new schools being built at the half mile section, which resulted in roadway capacity and site distance issues. This project regarded the road profile to eliminate the site distance hazards as well as defined drainage ditches to facilitate water removal away form the roadway. A turn lane was also constructed for the connection to the connecting road of the school. Very minor storm sewer and culvert work was also included.
