Arm of Gold
As a response to the prompt: Beauty and the Beast, I chose something close to my heart. The most beautiful moment in my life has been when I saw my traditional, strict, unsentimental Asian father give my mother a rose on their anniversary. His skinny yet strong arms have held me during nights when I would not sleep, have carried heavy luggages so I would not have to, have guided me through busy streets full of motorcycles, and most recently, have wrapped around my shoulder with pride when achieved the second prize for a regional math competition. This is to all the stubborn yet incredibly empathetic fathers out there.
