Many New Yorkers say that NYC lacks subtlety in color and is mostly dark: buildings, subways etc, are dull and depressing. How can designers change people’s impression of NYC? My concept is to “break the rules” and hopefully to use this idea as a tool for other artists in their works. Challenging thought patterns makes artists open their eyes, and allows all to see the world differently.
