Palmyra Women's House - Palmyra Women’s Center Fall 2005 Independent Design-Build 740 square feet Classmate Travis Eby and I traveled to rural southeastern India looking for hands-on construction work, travel opportunities, and a meaningful way to use our design skills. We independently raised $7,000 and contacted Palmyra, an Indian NGO to design a facility for the village women with whom they work. Architecture for Humanity granted us $5,000 and helped coordination the project's completion.
