"The Rise of Evolution" was a big game project during my Master's Degree. We created a orking prototypee of a sci-fi, squad based, tactical gamewere the script is flipped -the player controls the aliens and fights against the marines.
As part of the project, I wrote a 36 pages long Game Design Document, showing our vision and my considerations towards balancing, unit upgrades and unique game mechanics.

The Rise of Evolution

In The Rise of Evolution, players control a squad of aliens fighting in futurustic levels against their human oppressors. Instead of eqipping weapons, they can mutate their very bodies, alloing the player to customize them to their playstyle.
