Create Your Look Overview - Overview: To design fixtures for a boutique that reflects the personality of the clothes being displayed.
The focus is on suggestive selling and guiding the consumer in creating a look. The use of layering materials is used to create an eclectic look; and to mimic what creates an outfit. The customer's shopping experience is enhanced with the use of technology that suggests other items in the store, which creates movement and possibly increases sales. A hanging fixture creates three different looks for the customer to choose from rather than the one outfit a traditional mannequin offers. Another wall with a back projected screen and cutout shelves brings the images to life with the correct placement of merchandise. The corresponding images match what is placed on the shelves allowing the consumer to touch the clothes being modeled in the images.
Ignite: Sony Oven - Overview: To utilize SONY'S brand identity in designing new kitchen appliances for those living in upscale urban environments. Features: multiple lights, a large picture window, and innovative racks.
Cherish: Portable Photo Album - Overview: To create a product that will allow for the portability of photographs for the avid picture taker and sharer.
Focus: Headpiece and Receiver - Overview: Worked with BOLT group to design a device intended to assist children with ADD. User: children ages 8-13 yrs.
Balance: Dog Bowl - Overview: This dog bowl eliminates spilling while large dogs are eating and drinking. It also prevents accidents that may occur from filling the bowl at the sink to setting it down on the floor.
Hotel:Cielo - Overview: To create a space that conveys the open and airy feeling of the original design of the hotel. This was a group project involving both architecture and industrial design. The space designed converts from an intimate cafe by day to a bar by night. This is made possible by the rotating bar in the middle of the space. All furniture and lighting are original designs.
