WRITING – JCPenney storewide mailer, Day Trips (concept), July 2012

This was a section in the July mailer focused on different summer activities that could be done locally. The entire mailer was very America-centric, so the purpose of the pop-up in the upper left corner was to help tie the section in with the rest of the mailer. The overarching approach at the time was snapshots in the customer’s life, so the copy direction was oriented much more on lifestyle than merchandise.
