2020 Dakar Rally Concept
The objective of this project was to create a plastic car that can improve the ability of current steel cars. My inspiration began from a bike helmet. Light but strong!!!! Dakar Rally is the toughest car race and I thought it would be the best way to demonstrate the capability of this plastic car. That is why I focused on rally car.
Overall shape is similar to bike helmets, in order to keep the durability as the helmet. Body shell is made with Expanded Polystyrene covering roll cage. This structure enhances its rigidity keeping the light weight. Please enjoy~!
