TupOS

Ciudad Maderas, Querétaro is a real project that pretends to bring the very first intelligent city to Mexico. This situation and the analysis of the case brought me to the question: Doesn't an intelligent city need a public transportation system as intelligent as its city? That's how TupOS was born.

TupOS (Public Urban Transportation Operating System) is an intelligent transportation system. The project enhances all the technological resources that the city can give and adapt them into the public transport. Services like internet are applied to the transportation and make it more efficient, reliable and user-friendly.

Research showed us that the main problem with our PT system is the irregularity on it. This means that public transport has no time schedules nor defined stops which may confuse or even create irregularities when people try to get on time. Focusing on that and the reorganization of urban space for the new city, we could design a good solution.
