A very special one for me. It was not only my very first project ever but an answer to an acual problem beyond aesthetics and fom. Made out of wood and simply assembled, Libresa (fom the spanish words for book and table) is the answer to the question: How can we make people read? Based on that, Libresa comes as an appealing coffee table which not only looks good and serves it's main purpose but invites whoever meets it to read a little bit. Libresa has a main area for display but also has a space designed for more books, so there's no excuse for not reading.
Libresa is a very special project for me not only for being my first project but to be chosen twice as a part of Best Design Project of the Year expositions at my University. First time in 2011 and once again in 2014.
