Addy Dvoor and the Farm
Written and illustrated in summer 2014 for the Girl Scout Gold Award, "Addy Dvoor and the Farm" is a history of my hometown, Flemington, NJ, as seen through the eyes of a young girl. The book focuses on local heritage, leaving home, and the powerful relationship between a girl and her grandmother.
The book was illustrated using watercolor paints and incorporated references photos from my family history. It was assembled using Adobe Photoshop, and I collaborated with a local print shop to produce and distribute the book to local schools and libraries.
