A large mural of Alexander Calder play with a mobile spans the entire vertical wall, with visitors seeing only a portion of the entire work on each floor. Only by assimilating the pieces can viewers understand the full concept. As Calder plays with the mobile, he also subtly plays with visitors. Is he manipulating them or are visitors fully in control of their experience? The exhibit forces viewers to redefine the art exhibit experience.
