Plug In A - To research Melbourne's Architectural Discourse and to design something in response to our discoveries. Using a pre-existing space in Melbourne's Flinders Lane, I created a physical hybrid of an architectural website/forum, disguising it as a bar. A social space for those within the design community and those just interested in a few drinks to explore the works and ideas posted on the surrounding walls.
Axonometric of the space itself.. - To research Melbourne's Architectural Discourse and to design something in response to our discoveries. The other set of stair that lead up to the bar area, behind which you can access the exhibition level. Below the bar is where the patrons mingle and post their ideas and designs on the surrounding walls.
Behind the bar is the exhibition space that can easily be viewed by all and hopefully gain the attention of a passer by who was merely after an after work drink.
