For the past 2 years, I worked closely with the lead designer to develop products for the Vera Bradley baby collection. My responsibilities included:
- creating graphic artwork and production print files
- designing soft toys
- creating technical drawings
- prepping tech packs for release to vendors
- communicating with factories
- sampling new materials and product
- researching trends and creating mood boards
For the Summer 2014 collection, I Illustrated a backpack for the boy’s bodysuit featuring the Bunny and Bear characters. This trompe l’oeil design was a fun way to tie in Vera Bradley’s core product - printed bags. In anticipation of a Winter 2014 collection, I developed items featuring a woodland creatures themed print. I designed graphic artwork concepts for screen printing and designed a deer knit toy.
