Yanbian International Academy (YIA) Book Drive - This poster was designed for a book drive for YIA, an academy located in Yanji, China. The poster design, inspired by woodblock illustration, shows a simple lined illustration of flowers. The illustration begins at the top and flows to the bottom leading your eye to the open book. The paper bag background brings texture to complete the look of the poster.
Send Me '11 Poster (poster) and Raffle ticket (right) - Volunteered musicians gathered to sing and play to raise money for the missions team that was going to North Korea. Each attendee received a raffled ticket with a particular number to win a prize during the event.
Calvary English Chapel Logo Concepts –
4 Square logo (left) – In this logo, the four shapes represent Calvary’s four distinctives: Gospel, Family, Community, and Missions. The shapes were placed so that the negative space portrayed the cross. Also, the shapes have one sharp corner that points toward the center (the cross), which emphasizes the fact that everything points to Christ.
Cross logo (right) – Similar to the previous logo, the “C” and the cross are integrated within a circle to create this logo. The “C” is rotated so the cross takes prominence. In the alternate option, the colors are reversed so the negative space creates the cross.
