Sinus Cavity Studies
This project was conducted under subcontract to a private client that provided services to the National Center for Disease Control. I reconstructed nasal cavities from patient medical scans and created 3D digital models ready for rapid protyping. The goal of the larger project was to create life-like, transparent sinus cavitiy models that could be used to study deposition of inhaled medication utilizing chemical tracing technology.
