Brain Tumor Study
This project involved importing medical scan data into a 3D medical reconstruction software package to created discrete 3D medical models of the skull, brain, brain tumor, and skin. These models were used to create a physical 3D model on a Z-Corp 3D printer. The purpose of the study was to better characterize 3D reconstructions for better callibration of surgical navigations systems.
