The party was winding down, yet Adelina could still feel a buzzing in her veins. Her heart was pounding, riding on the adrenaline left over from her performance. The crowd had gone wild during her magic act, oohing and ahhing as she lifted a little girl's teddy bear into the sky, floated the flowers from their vases on the table. And then, for the final act: she miniaturized herself, floating with all the props above a small ivy on a couple's table.
