Coper Casting. - This project was inspired by the idea of designing for 2050. I looked at reducing/ eliminating eating. The rocks attached to the back, feed the body throughout the day via a highly developed powder, and the necklaces are made as food pouches, to source food from.
I took a unique idea of copper casting and combined it with enameling. A risky idea but it seemed to work out in the end.
The enameling gives a very unique aesthetic, on the polished coper. The process of making these forms was more fascinating for me than the designing.
I also made the conscious effort to re-cycle old coper pipes, melting them don and transforming them into jewelry.
