PROGRAM: An existing space located on the upper level of Corporate National Bank; consists of private and communal workspaces.
SEMESTER: Spring semester 2011, Studio 2
CONCEPT: It was essential that the atmosphere of the loan office for Corporate National Bank be inviting and light. Because banks and loan offices can be intimidating for customers, the design should provoke a lighter mood. The layout is clean, open and minimalistic. The materials are earthy and slightly whimsical paired with light weight furniture, nothing overbearing or bulky. Frosted glass is also used throughout the space to increase light and make the office feel larger while still creating a sense a privacy and security to banking clients.
