Hospitality Design- Hotel room and lobby/lounge
During my study abroad trip in Florence, Italy, I was assigned to redesign an exiting hotel, Hotel Cavour in Rome. The assignment was to adhere to the idealisms of "de re mediteranea" or, of the Mediterranean. I had to create a space that locals of the Mediterranean area would easily be able to relate to and feel comfortable in. Both the hotel room and the lobby feature a light fixture that I designed as part of my lighting class that I also took while in Italy.
