The design of Phillip Lim’s pop-up shop located in a central piazza in Florence, Italy, will capture the essence of Lim’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection. Abstract and minimalist aspects of his style will be used to reinforce the essential character of the atmosphere. It will cultivate curiosity of customers, dynamically reflect Lim’s brand, and showcase the collection in a refined fusion of sophisticated elements. The transparency of glass will allow the juxtaposition of the surrounding historic architecture to be a feature within the space and incorporate Florence into the design. The refined lines and neutral hues will allow the collection itself to shine. In contrast, Lim’s striking pops of vibrant colors that are embraced in his latest collection will evolve throughout the space, portraying his unexpected divergence of fashion.
