The assignment was to take a provided excerpt and visually express the message by using different type treatments. I came up with a theme that I felt was conveyed in the text: water as a metaphor for life; if you can figure out how to navigate it, it feels effortless. If you cannot, then you struggle through it. Moreover, it is transformable and represents different phases of life.
