The design goal was to develop a home appliance system that integrates sustainability strategies in the refrigerator's lifecycle, while enhancing sustainable user behavior with an enjoyable user experience in the kitchen. This semester-long project was sponsored by the company General Electric (GE Appliances).
Verdant: The Eco Refrigerator was selected by both GE Design Managers and Professor Alex Lobos as the best concept in the category of Refrigeration in this class.
