Hurtigruten has recently built a dedicated Explorer Ship, that now travels the Globe. It can go both in Ice water as well as Tropical.
Our role in the Development was equally to help the Client find their definition of new Operations , as well as help design the ship function Inside & out.
I developed Hurtigrutens new Activity & Science Center alongside the Client & their staff in the Explorer Expedition.
It was a complex, yet innovating task to create the room-schedule, in order to define their new needs. Translating the analysis & finding function vs form in a new Shape.
The Activity Center was then implemented in all their other Shops that underwent refurb. I also did the exterior areas like pooldeck, lookout area, reception & shop, Lounge ect
