San Francisco Icons Business Cards - A series of three mock business cards made for famous San Francisco icons and local characters, this is a card for Joshua A. Norton (1819-1880), also known as His Imperial Majesty Emperor Norton I. Emperor Norton was a celebrated--albeit deluded--citizen of San Francisco during the gold rush. He was famous for his delusions of grandeur and issuing pompous decrees. The Emperor's card displays his royal coat of arms, decorative proclamation ribbon and official wax seal.
San Francisco Icons Business Cards - A series of three mock business cards made for famous San Francisco icons and local characters, this card is for Marian and Vivian Brown, identical twins famous for their matching wardrobe and behavior. The card has a center fold that opens to reveal the two twins attached at the hip. The exterior of the card is covered in leopard-print fur and red feather hats, in honor of the twins' flamboyant fashion sense.
