BEER PACKAGING The label design was to carry on the packaging and unified the brand as one. The logo is the focus of the label on the packaging so it could be easy to recognized when its put on the shelves next to its competitors. The design is located on all four sides of the packaging so when facing the shelves its always recognized from any side.

THE LABEL The project included designing a logo and creating the packaging for a beer label. The beer was brewed in Oregon In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead. A colorful, fun Sugar skull was used as the primary logo to represent the day of the dead. The logo was set on a backdrop of repetitive muted sugar skulls to create pop and interest.

Dead Guy Ale
In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead (November 1st, All Souls Day) for Casa U Betcha in Portland, Oregon. The Dead Guy design proved popular and was incorporated into a bottled product a few years later with MaierBock as the elixir.
