Floating Seed Sprouter
Description:
The device has to be no more than 2.5" in diameter - it needs to fit in a cup.
It will be 3D printed, and then plastic mold manufactured.
The device needs to support 100g of weight, not tip over, and stay afloat.
Specifically, the 100g weight will be no larger with a 2" diameter, and can be as small as .25" in diameter. I envision 3 adjustable, horizontal poles that are attached in the inside walls of the device, that can move vertically up/down, depending on the weight of the seed, and in/out, depending on the size of the seed.
Lastly, there needs to be a hole that is no smaller than .5 inches, at the bottom of the device so water can get through.
Ideally, I would like to see buoyancy / fluid simulations of this in action, to ensure it meets the above criteria. Any other questions, please let me know.
