YGGDRASIL
Yggdrasil is an energy efficiently desk lamp produced in cooperation with Lummelunda Mill. The lamp is designed to demonstrate the many features of wood and a major focus has been on finding both form and function that are already inherent in the material.
Yggdrasil is made of ash veneer, joints in birch, fabric covered cables and a steady base of polished concrete. A system of joints and wing nuts allows the light to be easily directed where you need it the most. The lamp has an energy efficient luminaire consisting of 60 LEDs and a rechargeable battery in the foot with six hours of battery life. This allows the lamp to be easily taken from the desktop to the coffee table.
