FOLDING LOUNGE CHAIR, 2006 - This Folding Lounge Chair is designed for a design competition that held by the biggest mail-order company. The theme is to design stylish furniture for sophisticated women who live in metropolises. This lounge chair is designed for a urbanized working woman who wants to buy a decent seating for herslef to chill out at home. Because this competition is for a mail-order company, easy shipping is considered and it does not need complex assembling for female users.
PLUG-HOOK, 2006 - This is designed for "Muji Award 01", 2006. When you finish drying your hair, what do you do with your hair dryer? You might leave your hair dryer next to the washbowl? You might wrap the cord around it and put it away into the cabinet? You can hook your hair dryer on this, by using a hole usually hair dryers have on the bottom.
DINING TABLE, 2004 - Dining Table is designed for "Sapporo Style Design Competition 2004", and awarded a prize in the "Dream of Ice" category. The competition was held by the Sapporo city hall as one of the industrial promotion projects.
HANDRAIL BRACKET SERIES, 2004 - This Handrail Bracket Series was designed for one of the famous archtectual hardware manufacture, as new designed brackets for architects who consider design of brackets. The handrail is affixed to the wall in staircases, slopes, and halls in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, public facilities and department stores.
SIDE TABLE, 2003 - This side table was designed for TDB Design Competition. TDB Design Competition was held during Tokyo Designer's Block 2003, one of Japanese most famous annual design festivals. For this competition I created an interesting idea for a drawer that has completely hidden sliding rails
SAFETY GRAB BAR, 2000 - This safety bar was designed for a famous manufacturer of architectural hardware commissioned by a public corporation, to fulfill a request made to the manufacturer for safety bars and handles made of wood. The product's function is to aid disabled and elderly persons in lavatories in government-built apartments and housing.
STORAGE UNIT, 1999 - The Storage Unit was designed for the graduation work in the Industrial Design program at Sapporo School of the Arts, for an advanced graduate course of study in 1999. It was designed and styled after intense study of the Eames Storage Unit (ESU) designed by Charles and Ray Eames 1949.
