Retractable Roof - Design, modelling, engineering and full detailing of a novel retractable roof for a high profile private Soho club. Based on the patented trellis mechanism by University of Oxford. Liasing with material suppliers, specialist contractors, main contractors and structural engineers to develop final proposal, including costing and project plan. The concept has evolved from extensive research into visual perception and aims at a breakthrough in the lighting of the workplace. A simple yet ingenious light, comprising a mechanical remote control mechanism for adjusting the beam of a remote, narrow-beam spotlight. Patented. Creation of a range of domestic and commercial, wall, ceiling and table lights along the same principles. Patents pending.
Mpad - Contract for the development of an electronics product from concept to mass production. First phase involving design, development, engineering and production of fully functional MK1 Prototype completed successfully.
