Lost in Midtown

This illustrated journal was inspired by the artwork and graffiti found around midtown Sacramento. While exploring the city, I photographed murals and typefaces, and listened to and sketched passing conversations. With this research the work creates a “song”, composed by the variation of type found in the city.
