Magazine layout - School project - Redesign an actual article. I looked long and hard for an image that had the visual impact I was looking for. Then I changed its color to make what it was more visible, and tied the color in with the title.
Poster design - School competition for the first Gosport Art show. I picked the ferry as a focal point because, the first ship building company in tidewater was "Gosport" and they build the ferry's. Showing it underway tied it to the theme of the message - moving to Portsmouth.
Volvelle of the Seven Wonders of the World - School project - the wheel spins inside the 2 folded pieces, and you see facts about the seven wonders inside the windows. A pretty complex piece, getting all the facts to line up with the windows, and still fit on the wheel.

Book design - School project - I used a glossy cover to give greater impact to the design on the cover. And left the cover clean and simple so the art work was the focus.
