Skateboard Storage rack
This was my final project for the second year of my Product Design course during my A-levels. The brief was left quiet open and was: to design and manufacture a piece of unique storage. The product had to be specific to a certain brand, sport, or set of items and had to solve a problem for the target market/area. For this brief I decided to design a modular storage rack for skateboarders that doesn’t just store the skateboards but also all the other items that go with the hobby. The rack would be adjustable to store 90% of skateboards and would also store other miscellaneous items such as spare parts, wheels, bearings, knee pads, elbow pads, a helmet, multi-tools etc.
