Zero Waste Chair - Design Fabrication Study
The Zero Waste Chair was developed as a 2D fabrication study of maximizing the use of materials in manufacturing. The chair was created by milling a single plank of pine using a Techno Isel CNC mill. The entire plank was used to construct the chair, ensuring "zero waste" of raw material. The pieces of the chair fit together with milled slots and require no additional connections or materials. The project team consisted of myself, Josef Kendersky, and Michael Marvin
