Women of the Gold Rush West with LCHM at the Library

As the Terminal Project for my Master's degree in Folklore, I curated, designed and produced two small temporary exhibitions in collaboration with the Lane County Historical Museum, the Eugene Opera, the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, and the Eugene Public Library.

These exhibits were part of a series of events, lectures and exhibitions scheduled in to coordinate with Eugene Opera's spring 2014 production of Puccini's "Girl of the Golden West," and were warmly received by the Eugene-Springfield community.

The "Making Their Way" exhibit at the Eugene Public Library featured pictures of dozens of collections items from the Lane County Historical Museum, and historic images and stories highlighting women from local history.
