When Clementoni asked me to work on the design of this product I was very excited because I really like electronics.
In the past years I worked also as digital educator helping children buinding simple circuits with different conductive materials during their tinkering activities so this projects suited me very well.
In the development of this Electronics Laboratory, my task was to give an attractive shape to the main play area, considering also the need to add containers for electronic components.
The most exciting part of this project has been working on the pattern of the top surface, the aim was to make it resemble an actual electronic board. The final design consists in a repetition of hexagons in relief surrounded by a linear cut also in the shape of a hexagon.
The colour combination contributes in giving this product an electronic component allure.
