In The End Nothing- An Edible Chanukah Menorah

Project was about creating a food related item that in the end was nothing. I created an edible Chanukah Menorah by testing Coconut oil and almond chunk mixtures atop molded chocolate parts. These were the candles, and a cookie was used for the base.

Through trial and error I was successful in creating an edible Menorah.

With this design, lighting candles becomes a family activity beyond just lighting candles. It also saves on the need for producing and transporting many candles.

This project won a student notable award in the Food category of the 2014 Core77 design awards. http://www.core77designawards.com/2014/recipients/nothing-edible-menorah/
