Entry for Biomimicry competition hosted by the Biomimicry 3.8 Institute.
The project brief was transportation.
Our proposal was the reduction of transportation through localized food production in schools. We compared the relationship of plants and fungi called Arbuscular mycorrhiza in which nutrients are exchanged at Arbuscules between plants and fungi to schools. Schools are hubs of activity throughout a community where information and nutrients are and could be exchanged.
