Signal Control Ring
This project was submitted to the UNICEF Wearables for Good competition. The proposed product is a wearable device that controls vital signs for babies. It is an electronic device with wearable interface able to capture, transmit and store data on the health status of the baby, such as body temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate. The device is used by the mother, as a ring, and through hand contact with the baby's body, it is possible to measure body temperature, heartbeat and respiratory rate. Through sensors in the bottom of the unit, the device can record the data and provide instant feedback to the user, which can also be accessed by a team through a wireless connection to the device.
