The Paw-Pal In Use - This project asked me to create a new product which could be manufactured to solve a problem. As I own a dog, who can create a mess after going for a walk or going to the loo, I created a dryer for dogs which doesn't use a fan or any kind of noisy device. The great thing about the product is that you can dry your dogs feet and belly while still being able to hold him/her. At the same time the dog doesn't get scared of loud noises, like with a hair-dryer. The product uses a ionic ceramic heater and runs at 12 volts with a relay inside to control the temperature. A rubber surface with bristles inside the hole and on the top surface create static between the device and the dog and speed up drying by grabbing the dog's hairs.
The Paw-Pal - Explanation - This page shows the paw pal exploded and complete along with a detailed explanation of the product.
The Paw-Pal - Power - The product is fully portable and runs at 12 Volts, as I am in Britain I used our plug but of course any plug which converts down to 12 Volts would work, I also included a car charger as I believe the product would be usefull when out with the dog.
The Paw-Pal - Turn it On - This board shows the simple on/off function
The Paw-Pal - Easy to Hold - This Board shows how you simply slide your hand in to hold the product.
The Paw-Pal - In Use - This is how the product would be used, simple? You still have one hand to hold your dog, my mug of soup inspired me!
Bag Of Bits - Baby Monitor - In this project i was given a list of parts i could use. The product had be one that created a visible or audio alert system, like an alarm clock, watch or what i choose a baby monitor. I found all the components i needed and redesigned it to become a more attractive item in the home which shouldn't look out of place.

Recycling Bin Project - This Project was based on the RSA competition and we we're given a choice of 6 briefs, i choose to do domestic Greenclean which was aimed at creating a product which would improve and aid recycling.
I designed a recycling bin aimed at children which would look like building blocks, thus creating interest in the product. It would also teach them about recycling at an early age, so by the time they are adults it is second nature to recycle.
