I was privileged to join the Torq project as a co-designer with Jason Hill. I began where Jason left off taking a bit of a different design direction. It was communicated from Epic that it was to have faceted aggressive forms and to keep true to the flavour of the original design. Examples of some of the treatments I worked on would be enhancing much of the angled panel breakups, creating sportier fenders, wheel covers and body panels all around for a slightly more sophisticated aggressive character. The interior was a pretty clean slate where I was able to pen the center console and storage compartments. I was also responsible for all the A-surface CAD modeling and creating the final renders you see here. Epic is now selling the Torq.
